Koh Weo is a wonderful dive site just off Bangtao Beach, on the west coast of Phuket.

It is about  a 30 minute boat ride from Merlin Divers shop on Kamala beach.  Koh Weo is two small rocky islands surrounded by coral reef on three sides from 5 to 12 metres and on the west side large boulders going down to about 22 metres.  Koh Weo is visited by very few Dive Centres so is quiet and not crowded with scuba divers

Bangtao Diving

The dive site is suitable for any divers from complete beginners up to very experienced divers with plenty to see for everyone. A wide variety of marine life including large schools of fusiliers and barracuda, many different types of pufferfish, moray eels, octopus, turtles and a variety of nudibranchs.

Merlin Divers offers half-day drips to Koh Weo almost every day from October through to May.
