The SSI Open Water Course is by far the most popular way to learn to dive, it is recognised internationally and more people learn to dive with SSI than all other organisations combined.
To complete the course whilst on holiday in Phuket takes just 3 short days. The first day consists of theory – learning the scuba terms and the reason for the rules of diving. In the afternoon in a local swimming pool you will learn and practice all the skills needed for diving.
This is followed by 2 fun-filled half-days on the boat completing the 4 Open Water dives. You will re-demonstrate the skills learnt in the pool and explore the marine life in the ocean of the west coast of Phuket. This is followed by a little more theory.
The final act is to issue your SSI Open Water Diver certificate for life.
