Day Trip Phi Phi Island
The Phi Phi islands and their national park consists of the 2 main islands called Phi Phi Don and Phi Phi Leh and 4 smaller islands. The Bida Islands – Bida Nai and Bida Nog are 2 of them. Phi Phi Don is the tourism center of the islands with plenty of accommodation, hotels and guess what – dive shops. The sister island Phi Phi Leh is uninhabited.
The dive sites are to find on the 2 Bida islands and on Phi Phi Leh. All sites offer a good variety of fish life and corals. The depth is moderate with maximum 18 – 25 meters. The current at the end of the Phnagna bay mild to moderate. All sites are good for all level of certified scuba divers.
Dive Trip Phi Phi Island
All dive trips going to Phi Phi offer 3 dives to do. The dive time is limited to 50 minutes and the dives are strictly planned as no-decompression dives.
All boats offer lunch which is a buffet with plenty of food for everybody. For the customers there is also plenty of drinking water, coffee and tea, fruits all day long included in the trip price.Offering a little snack or even a pancake on the return journey has become customary as well.
The boats do return to Phuket pier about 5.30 – 6 pm. Then it will take the time again to get everybody in their respective minibus and start the journey back to your hotel.
It’s a full day of diving but for many divers it can be an unforgettable day with plenty of fish and corals and if lucky you can see leopard sharks, octopuses or turtles. If you are really lucky the whale shark might show up just when you are on a scuba dive trip to Phi Phi from Phuket.
