Turtle around Phuket shipwreck
We got a dive site about 90minutes out from one of the main harbours on Phuket called Chalong. The dive site is called King Cruiser which is a ship wreck lying more or less exactly between Phuket and Phi Phi island. Close by are the dive sites called Anemone Reef and Shark Point Phuket – two of the best dives sites in the whole of Thailand.
There are not many places for the fishes to hide in the bay of Phang Nga and is one of the reasons why on the wreck called King Cruiser you will always find lots of fishes.
The King Cruiser wreck is one of the most popular dive sites for scuba diving on Phuket, Thailand.
The wreck started to collapse bit by bit – albeit a very slow process. It once started on 13 – 14 meters now the divers descend on a rope to about 18 – 20 meters to be on the top of the wreck depending on the level of the tide.
But if you have a diving certificate and did recently dive to go out and scuba dive the “King Cruiser wreck” is a must and if you are lucky will encounter a nice big turtle swimming along with you.
